Once again Florida Hospital will be fielding a team for the American Cancer Society’s Sebring “Relay for Life.” The ACS theme this year is “Cruising the Decades” so FHHD has chosen the 1950s with “Walk ‘n Roll.” We are looking for FHHD staff to participate by becoming a walker, a donor, and both. Please choose a way to support your fellow FHHD staff members in this worthwhile cause…

Donations – No donation is too small! Whether you can donate $1 or more, it will help us reach our goal of $1,000. If you donate $25 or more, you will receive a limited-edition FHHD tee shirt (please donate & order by April 14). Donations can be accepted in cash or by check payable to the "American Cancer Society." Donations and tee shirt orders are accepted in the Sebring gift shop, Sebring fitness center or by seeing these team leaders:

·        Deb Vaughn in the emergency department

·        Frank Hernandez in engineering

·        Mike Napper in cardio-pulmonary rehab

·        Todd Johnson in risk management

·        Nancy Johns in medical records

·        Tiffany Bender in marketing.

 Walkers – We are also looking walkers during this event. We will field a team from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, at Firemen’s Field in Sebring. The more people, the more fun it will be so please bring your family, friends and fellow staff members too!

Cancer Survivors – If you are a cancer survivor and would like to be treated to a complimentary lunch and tee shirt from the American Cancer Society then lead off the walk with other survivors, please let a team leader know. You will simply need to fill out an ACS registration form to be included; there is no charge for this.
