FH Wauchula Purchases High-Tech Beds
6/23/2008

Patients at Florida Hospital Wauchula can rest a little easier in all new hospital beds. These modern beds feature Isoflex and Symmetric Aire mattresses which redistribute body pressure to prevent skin breakdowns, shearing and provide greater comfort for the patient. The beds cost $7,600 each and were purchased through a Capital Improvement Grant in 2007 and 2008.

“Our hospital is very pleased to provide our patients with a greater level of comfort, treatment, and safety with these Secure II beds,” said Florida Hospital Wauchula Administrator Linda Adler. “Newer technology lets us weigh patients while still in bed and makes it easier to assist the patient from bed.”
